Uninsured and Underinsured Motorist Coverage

| Under Michigan’s No-fault Insurance Law, Personal Injury Protection (PIP) coverage pays medical expenses, some wage loss and other benefits to persons injured in an automobile accident from their own insurance company without regard to fault. But what about excess wage loss and non-economic loss, such as pain and suffering, disability and loss of function? Under Michigan law, the driver at fault is liable for these damages. If the driver at fault has no insurance or carries limits that are less than yours, you could have much less coverage than you need. There are optional coverages called Uninsured Motorist and Underinsured Motorist Coverages available, but you should know that not all insurance companies offer these optional coverages. Woman of Achievement

| Mari Frost, of Frost Insurance Agency, recently earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation, according to her proud husband and business partner, Paul, who nominated her as a local Woman of Achievement.
"Since Mari agreed to work here temporarily 16 years ago," says Paul, "she has become an invaluable asset to the agency." Today she head the agency's human resources, automation management and accounting departments.
When she is not furthering her own education, Mari, who received a degree in Music Education from Western Michigan University, volunteers in the Trenton Public Schools music department, for which she has provided musical accompaniment during many holiday music concerts and student performances. She is also active with the Trenton Band Boosters, and would like to continue to broaden and deepen her efforts to serve the agency and the local community.
Frost Insurance has provided insurance and financial services to area residents since it was started by Jack Frost in Wyandotte more than 52 years ago.
